We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a growing manufacturer in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
This individual will oversee production, drive operational improvements, and ensure the facility consistently meets its safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Key responsibilities:- Lead daily manufacturing and production operations
- Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors and team members
- Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, labor efficiency, scrap, and productivity
- Improve performance through Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements
- Support capacity planning, scheduling, and on-time delivery
- 7+ years of manufacturing operations experience
- Leadership experience within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience in aerospace, defense, medical devices, electronics, or a similar industry is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Proven success improving operational performance and developing teams
