Position: Director of Nursing

The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role works closely with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered at all times.

• Lead daily operations of the nursing department
• Set, track, and achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures
• Supervise, train, evaluate, and support nursing staff
• Hire, onboard, and retain nursing personnel
• Create and manage nursing schedules
• Provide direct patient care when needed
• Investigate and resolve patient complaints
• Collaborate with physicians and executive leadership
• Oversee and manage the nursing department budget
• Design and lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or clinic
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
