Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse — Cherry Hill, NJ
Wills Eye Hospital is hiring a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse in Cherry Hill, NJ at the Wills Eye Surgery Center - Cherry Hill, NJ. In this role, you’ll provide safe, patient-centered nursing care, apply clinical judgment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes. In this role, you’ll support safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while helping deliver high-quality ophthalmic care. You’ll manage patient care activities, clinical assessments, treatments, coordination of services and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities- Possesses knowledge of and the ability to perform duties in accordance with established standards for all Nursing practices as set forth in the Hospital policies.
- Keeps proficient and is knowledgeable of patient’s needs, techniques, and requirements at all times.
- Assesses the learning needs of patients/significant other(s), and has knowledge of normal growth and development stages.
- Cares for specimens and cultures in accordance with Hospital policies and best practices.
- Possesses knowledge of anesthetic agents, techniques, actions and interactions to include patients of all ages.

Minimum Qualifications- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania required.
- One year of clinical experience is required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred.
- Three years of clinical experience is preferred.
