Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Cherry Hill, New Jersey
Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Licensed and residing in the state of New Jersey is required.
Competitive ramp stipend available for clinicians offering 30+ hours of availability per week.
Compensation:
This is a Fee for Service (W2) position. The salary range is $141,000–$203,000 per year based on 25–35 clinical hours per week.
For patient safety and best practices, we do not use stimulant medications unless clinically indicated. For substance use disorders, we refer clients to in‑person providers when necessary.
Nurse Practitioners are expected to provide care to a diverse population with conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more, primarily serving adults and adolescents, with a future focus on the broader lifespan.
Responsibilities- Conduct in‑person intakes and follow‑ups every 90 days
- Perform psychiatric assessments and ongoing evaluations via in‑person and telemedicine modalities
- Treat patients aged 14 and older
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed
- Collaborate with clients to develop individualized care plans
- Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools
- Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on client needs, programs, and services
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification
- Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in New Jersey
- Experience with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR (preferred)
- One year of psychiatric practice required; three years of experience preferred
- Completion of in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and guidelines, followed by a certification exam
- Remote Medical Assistants support
