This program is designed to provide immediate stabilization, compassionate intervention, and meaningful support for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric and behavioral health needs — all while helping reduce unnecessary hospitalizations and improving community outcomes. -7p.m. + 4 Hours OR 7p-7a + 4 Hours-choose your preferred shift) - Opportunity to work alongside experienced Behavioral Health leadership and providers
- Career advancement opportunities as the program continues to expand
- Provide direct nursing care and behavioral health support to individuals experiencing psychiatric crises
- Perform nursing assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring
- Administer medications and monitor patient response to treatment
- Assist with crisis intervention and de‑escalation efforts
- Collaborate closely with Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, Social Workers, and interdisciplinary staff
- Support care coordination, discharge planning, and referrals to appropriate community resources
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure a safe, therapeutic, and trauma‑informed environment for patients and staff
- Participate in development and implementation of program workflows and best practices
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Substance Use/Detox: 1 year (Required)
- Inpatient Behavioral Health: 1 year (Required)
- Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, Crisis, Emergency Room, Detox/Substance Use, or Inpatient experience strongly preferred
- Passion for community mental health and serving vulnerable populations
- Strong assessment, communication, and crisis management skills
- Ability to thrive within a fast‑paced, evolving environment
