Assistant Director of Nursing; ADON​/Infection Preventionist

Arista Care at Cherry Hill is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Preventionist to join our nursing leadership team. Our 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Cherry Hill, NJ provides post-hospital rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care, along with specialty programs in respiratory care, cardiac and orthopedic rehab, and wound management. The ADON / Infection Preventionist plays a central role in the clinical operation of the building, and we're looking for someone ready to step into that role and own it.

This Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Preventionist position requires prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care setting — candidates without nursing home experience will not be considered. What You'll Do

• Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in the day-to-day management of the nursing department

• Lead the facility's infection prevention and control program as the designated Infection Preventionist (IP)

• Monitor, track, and report infection control data and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements

• Educate and support nursing staff on infection prevention practices and clinical standards

• Participate in quality assurance and clinical oversight alongside the nursing leadership team

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of New Jersey — required

• Infection Preventionist (IP) certification, or willingness to obtain IP certification — required

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Nursing Supervisor in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting — required
