Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - 1099 Contractor

Job Overview

As a contract Child and Adolescent nurse practitioner, you will provide essential clinical care to children, teens, and young adults. This role emphasizes core competencies such as diagnostic expertise, family engagement, ethical practice, and continuous improvement to ensure the highest standard of care. You will deliver evidence‑based treatment via live 30‑minute video intake appointments, conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications and coordinate referrals to therapy and coaching services.

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via a 60‑minute intake appointment and regular follow‑up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment.
• Construct patient‑centered treatment plans, document treatment recommendations, message patients, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Provide safe, evidence‑based medication treatment following clinical best practice guidelines.

• Graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or PA program with the specified certifications.
• Unrestricted state license.
• At least 2 years of practice experience.
• DEA license preferred.
• Additional certification or clinical experience with minors preferred.
• Office space to see clients in Cherry Hill.
• Ability to manage a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels, including in‑person options.
• Full‑time resident of the United States.
