Sears Outlet Assistant Store Manager, Sales - New Store Opening Soon

Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores is a national retailer primarily focused on selling home appliances, hardware, tools and lawn and garden equipment. We operate through two segments – the Sears Hometown and Hardware segment and the Sears Outlet segment.

• Manage the sales organization in the store.
• Support the Store Manager in driving sales, credit, miscellaneous revenue, expense management, and planned cost recovery goals.
• Execute corporate programs and policies to maximize store cost recovery through superior customer service and associate asset productivity.
• Maintain Outlet Store presentation standards at the highest level.
• Model and hold others accountable for the Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices, leading by example with the highest level of integrity.

• 1‑2 years of experience with retail store/field management.
• Experience managing others, preferably in retail or service environments.
• Strong drive for results and action‑oriented execution skills.
• Strong coaching and associate development skills.
• Courageous leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and focus on critical issues and activities.
• Knowledge of retail business and Outlet Store operations.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy.
• Knowledge of Change Management.
• Attention to detail.
