The United States Navy's Oceanography (OCEANO) officers, also called METOC, are geophysical experts applying meteorology, oceanography, hydrography, and related sciences to define and apply the physical environment in support of naval operations.
As an OCEANO Officer you will lead environmental data collection, processing, and dissemination, ensure safe navigation, and command teams from small detachments to hundreds of personnel across sea and shore assignments.
