Licensed Plumbing Inspector - Cherry Hill Township.

Is seeking qualified candidates to fill an immediate opening for full-time or part-time Licensed Plumbing Inspector. All applicants must possess a valid Plumbing Inspector license and any other applicable UCC Inspector license issued by the State of New Jersey. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in municipal plumbing inspection required, preferably in a large municipality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inspecting new and existing residential, commercial, and industrial buildings and structures to enforce compliance with applicable building codes and approved plans/specifications;
Issuing permits, notices of non-compliance, stop-work orders, or written recommendations to Code Official when necessary.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of methods used to conduct plumbing inspections, familiarity with plumbing installation techniques, fixtures and fixture requirements, ability to review and interpret plumbing plans and related documentation for UCC compliance, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with SDL software preferred. Hourly rate for part-time position is $46.35;

full-time salary ranges from $80,000 to $83,000, commensurate with qualifications.
