Catering Assistant

Overview

Catering Assistant – contract: permanent, 50 hours per week, 07:00 – 19:00 (including a 2‑hour unpaid break). Hourly rate: £12.21 – £12.46.

Location:

Chertsey, KT16 0AE
, with regional travel within a 20‑mile radius and a company car for site travel.

• Work as part of a motivated and passionate catering team.
• Deliver the highest standard of customer care and a customer‑first approach.
• Meet deadlines, providing prompt meal service in line with accuracy and hygiene standards.
• Uphold Health & Safety values, ensuring a secure and safe environment.
• Maintain site cleanliness and general hygiene, keeping an excellent standard of cleanliness.
• Represent the catering and operations teams, prioritising client satisfaction.
• Work at different sites within a 20‑mile radius, depending on business needs.

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or ward hosting is preferred, but a positive, can‑do attitude is essential.

• Good understanding of the principles of food hygiene.
• A customer‑first approach, ensuring every experience is exceptional.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work at different locations.
• Reliable, punctual, and well‑presented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
