The Office Clerk performs general office duties.
Responsibilities- Responsible for accurate and timely filing, retrieval, tracking, scanning and maintenance of Cash Posting files
- Sort, research, and note return mail in the system
- Utilize computerized systems for scanning processes
- Administer proper guidelines to arrange high volume attorney letters, bankruptcy letters, correspondence, and other indexed documents according to specific guidelines
- Gather and index materials to be filed from department and employees
- Exhibit excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Adhere to the Service Excellence Standards and Expectations at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center
- Exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
- Demonstrate courteous communication skills and an ability to work with others, exercising good judgment in the performance of job duties
- Demonstrate courtesy, compassion, and respect to others in adherence to the hospital's philosophy and policy for promoting a positive work and customer environment
- Work as a team to continuously improve work quality
- Demonstrate a commitment to flexible work schedules when it is necessary to ensure patient care
- Present self in a positive manner as reflected by personal attire and etiquette
- Attend required hospital-wide orientations, meetings, and in-services

- Minimum Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Experience:
1+ year clerical experience - No certifications/licensures required for this position.
