Full-Time Administrative Salesclerk (Entry Level Clerical Position)
Position: Clerical Assistant for Service Center in Chesapeake, VA - Full-time position.

Machines include Radial hot and cold forging machines, high capacity cutting cam and crankshaft milling machines, ultrasonic cutting machines and tape laying machines for composites as well as high speed milling machines.

As a Full-Time Administrative Salesclerk (Entry Level Clerical Position), you will play a key role in supporting the sales and service teams by handling administrative tasks, assisting with customer communications, and ensuring smooth order processing. - Support sales managers and coordinators with administrative and organizational tasks
- Assist in preparing quotations and processing orders for customers
- Maintain and update customer records and files
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Coordinate with technical and engineering departments to support customer needs
- Process shipping notes and related documentation for spare parts and service orders
- Ensure accuracy in data entry and document formatting (mistakes are costly)
- Help maintain positive relationships with customers through direct interfacing and follow-up
- Prioritize and plan work activities, adapting to changing conditions as needed
- Interest in technology is helpful
- 2-3 years of experience in a role involving direct communication with customers or business contacts preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including basic Excel formulas and document formatting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent data entry and filing abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Professional telephone etiquette and a pleasant, customer-focused demeanor
- Reliability and ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
