About the RoleYou'll help test, repair, refurbish, and configure telecommunications, networking, and consumer electronic equipment in a fast-paced production environment. If you've used hand tools, built or fixed electronics, worked in a warehouse, or enjoy technical problem-solving, this role gives you hands-on experience and room to grow.
What You'll Do- Assist with testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic devices
- Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues
- Follow clear repair procedures and work instructions
- Use hand tools, diagnostic tools, and test equipment
- Document repairs, test results, and inventory updates
- Support equipment setup, configuration, software loading, and firmware updates
- Identify defective components and assist with replacements
- Maintain production goals while ensuring quality
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Work closely with technicians, supervisors, engineering, and quality teams
- Read and follow schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Perform assembly and disassembly, including basic soldering
- Ability to read or learn to read schematics and diagrams
- Experience or interest in electronics, assembly, repair, or troubleshooting
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools
- Basic soldering skills or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with computers, networking, or telecom equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/production setting
- Technical training, certifications, or electronics coursework
- Experience in electronics repair, depot repair, or manufacturing
- Knowledge of telecom or networking equipment
- Comfort with firmware updates, software loading, and device configuration
- Interest in learning new tools and technologies
You'll join a supportive, hands-on technical team where you can build real troubleshooting and repair skills. You'll work with technicians, engineering, and quality teams while gaining experience in electronics, logistics, and supply chain operations. This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
