Toyota Service Cashier - Second Shift

Job Description

First Team Toyota is seeking a Service Cashier for the afternoon shift with strong customer service skills. The dealership is expanding its service department and offers a team environment with benefits and ongoing training.

Position: SERVICE CASHIER (afternoon shift)

We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual to support our Service Department and contribute to growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Meets and greets customers on the Service Lane
• Provides exceptional customer service and a positive customer experience
• Uses the latest technology to check customers in at the Service Department
• Follows the Service Road-to-a-Sales process
• Maintains good working relationships with customers and technicians, including training and motivation
• Works with the Service Manager to secure a reasonable profit from every sale
• Coordinates service/repair work with Team Leader to achieve completion times
• Maintains professional communication with customers and ensures promises and promise times are met
• Provides repair options and transportation alternatives as needed
• Advises customers on the specific needs of their vehicle
• Monitors systems to ensure technicians meet promise times
• Offers a Multi-Point Inspection and can sell additional technician-recommended repairs or services
• Conducts business ethically and professionally

• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of computers; CDK a plus
