Looking for a role where sales, community engagement, and environmental impact actually connect?

TFC Recycling is seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven professional to help grow our business and strengthen our presence across the communities we serve. This role blends business development with civic engagement, brand advocacy, and municipal partnerships — and it’s anything but routine.

This is not a desk-only sales job.

You’ll be out in the community, representing TFC at meetings, events, facility tours, and presentations — building trust, opening doors, and turning relationships into long-term partnerships.

• Driving new commercial and municipal recycling opportunities
• Building and maintaining strong customer and community relationships
• Representing TFC at civic meetings, trade shows, festivals, parades, and events
• Leading facility tours and delivering presentations to schools, municipalities, and organizations
• Supporting newsletters, social media, and community-facing communications
• Collaborating with Operations and Marketing on special initiatives and events

• 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
• Experience working with municipalities, commercial customers, or community organizations
• Recycling, waste, or environmental services experience strongly preferred
• Confident presenter and relationship-builder
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, people-focused role
• Willingness to travel throughout Hampton Roads & RVA
