- Support specific private label products/categories through analysis and development of marketing plans, product promotions, advertising, in‑store displays and merchandising strategies.
- Assist with new product development and trend & sales data analysis.
- Maintain routine interactions with a limited number of suppliers/customers under manager supervision.
- Communicate cost increases and related information with limited negotiating.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Own relationships within retailer Private Label/Own Brand teams and understand their priorities.
- Leverage client strategy to guide supplier partners.
- Work with suppliers and retailers on new item launches, label updates, and reformulations.
- Build and maintain business relationships with suppliers and retailers.
- Manage supplier/client sales and revenue.
- Negotiate brokerage rates.
- Handle contract management.
- Facilitate and drive projects through process with cross‑functional teams.
- Identify potential risks and solutions.
- Manage private label product development from ideation to shelf.
- Influence suppliers and retailers to meet deadlines.
- Manage expectations of clients and retailers throughout the process.
- Obtain new sources of supply for retailer development.
- Advise BM on potential road blocks and provide solutions.
- Support new business development with business managers.
- Think on your feet, be a problem‑solver and self‑starter.
- Communicate proactively with retailers, suppliers, internal teams, and third‑party teams.
No direct reports. May delegate work and mentor indirect reports.
TravelTravel and driving are not essential duties.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years experience in Account or Brand Management.
- Basic computer skills:
Microsoft Office, web browsers. - Strong written and verbal communication.
- Conflict management.
- Decision‑making.
- Prioritizing.
- Excellent customer service.
Physical Requirements
Office/sedentary. Ability to sit extended periods (66%+), use computer, lift up to 10 pounds.
