Salary: USD $50,800.00 – $63,500.00 per year

Summary

Associate Business Manager at our Company, growing People, Brands, and Businesses. Entry level position in Business Management receiving guidance from senior BM and required to have strong decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support specific private label products/categories through analysis and development of marketing plans, product promotions, advertising, in‑store displays and merchandising strategies.
  • Assist with new product development and trend & sales data analysis.
  • Maintain routine interactions with a limited number of suppliers/customers under manager supervision.
  • Communicate cost increases and related information with limited negotiating.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Client Relationship Management
  • Own relationships within retailer Private Label/Own Brand teams and understand their priorities.
  • Leverage client strategy to guide supplier partners.
  • Work with suppliers and retailers on new item launches, label updates, and reformulations.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with suppliers and retailers.
Business Management
  • Manage supplier/client sales and revenue.
  • Negotiate brokerage rates.
  • Handle contract management.
Project Management
  • Facilitate and drive projects through process with cross‑functional teams.
  • Identify potential risks and solutions.
Product Development
  • Manage private label product development from ideation to shelf.
  • Influence suppliers and retailers to meet deadlines.
  • Manage expectations of clients and retailers throughout the process.
  • Obtain new sources of supply for retailer development.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Advise BM on potential road blocks and provide solutions.
  • Support new business development with business managers.
  • Think on your feet, be a problem‑solver and self‑starter.
  • Communicate proactively with retailers, suppliers, internal teams, and third‑party teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct reports. May delegate work and mentor indirect reports.

Travel

Travel and driving are not essential duties.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years experience in Account or Brand Management.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Basic computer skills:
    Microsoft Office, web browsers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Conflict management.
  • Decision‑making.
  • Prioritizing.
  • Excellent customer service.
Environmental &

Physical Requirements

Office/sedentary. Ability to sit extended periods (66%+), use computer, lift up to 10 pounds.
