Position SummaryOperations Management Trainee (OMT) is an 18‑month structured training program designed to develop leadership and operations knowledge for transportation and logistics. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to gain insights into the business, processes, and customer retention strategies, while contributing to operational excellence and metrics. The trainee will use problem‑solving skills to inform business decisions and will receive mentorship and training to prepare for future leadership roles.
EssentialFunctions
- Provide high‑quality customer interface, proactive management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the rental department to maximize utilization while maintaining lease customer service.
- Partner with sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased satisfaction.
- Manage running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policies and processes optimize costs.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate preventive maintenance scheduling, oversee breakdowns, vehicle status updates, and technician work planning for efficiency and training.
- Relocate within the business unit upon completion of the training program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution experience preferred.
- Advanced PC skills, including spreadsheets and word processing.
- Basic understanding of business finance, controls, and metrics.
