Chesapeake / Suffolk, VA Area | $100K – $120K Base

We’ve partnered with a well-established real estate development and construction group with a long-standing presence in the Virginia market. This team owns, builds, and manages their own projects — providing consistent work, stability, and long-term growth
.

They are actively hiring a Construction Superintendent to take ownership of active commercial and medical construction projects that are already underway.

• Immediate project need (medical/commercial work)
• Strong pipeline — not project-to-project instability
• Direct visibility with ownership and leadership
• Team-first culture — not a corporate environment
• Local work — no travel required

• Lead day-to-day job site operations from start to finish
• Manage subcontractors across all trades (MEP, civil, structural)
• Drive scheduling, inspections, and coordination with stakeholders
• Maintain safety compliance and job site organization
• Run weekly meetings and ensure projects stay on track

• 7+ years in construction
• Experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor
• Ability to run a job site independently
• Strong communication with subcontractors and inspectors
• Experience with commercial or medical projects is a plus

• Fully onsite role
• Stable work history preferred
• Must pass background & drug screening
