Estimating Role – Commercial Construction

Salary: $80,000 – $150,000 per year.
Job Details / Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to compute material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to clarify scope and refine estimates
- Develop bid proposals and present estimates to leadership and stakeholders
- Perform take-offs, quantity surveys, and value engineering assessments
- Maintain and update estimating databases, templates, and historical cost data
- Support pre-construction planning and post-bid analysis
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in commercial construction
- Proven track record of preparing accurate bids for projects of varying size and complexity
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools
- Full-time, exempt position with direct reporting to leadership
