Orion Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with experience in site development and civil construction who can manage projects from estimating through completion.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret civil engineering plans and specifications.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for:
• Clearing & Grading
• Storm Drain Systems
• Water & Sewer Utilities
• Curb & Gutter
• Sidewalks
• Asphalt, Stone & Aggregate Materials
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Obtain and manage Miss Utility tickets.
• Track daily trucking activity and material quantities using spreadsheets.
• Assist the company owner with daily project operations and administrative coordination.
• Support project documentation, material ordering, and subcontractor scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Experience in heavy civil/site construction estimating or project management preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering plans.
• Knowledge of site development construction methods and materials.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.
