We are currently recruiting for the Medical Director/Psychiatrist for Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare (CIBH), the behavioral healthcare agency for the City of Chesapeake, VA. CIBH provides mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual disability services for Chesapeake residents. This critical leadership position, reporting to the Executive Director, directs the agencys medical/psychiatric services, coordinates services with agency staff and other agencies, and provides clinical and administrative supervision to psychiatric physicians, clinical nurse specialists, and the nursing supervisor.

Additionally, the Medical Director/Psychiatrist provides direct psychiatric services to clients including comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy, medical evaluation services and medication, clinical documentation, and reporting, on an as-needed basis.
