- Valid and unrestricted Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license
- Board Certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Proven experience managing obstetric and gynecologic cases
- Strong clinical judgment and decision‑making capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments
- Previous experience as a hospitalist or in a similar locum role
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
- Additional certification in fetal monitoring or neonatal resuscitation
Education and Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric/gynecologic practice experience
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Availability to start on or around December 30, 2025
- Compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations
- Willingness to work in a hospital setting in North Chesapeake, VA
- Ability to obtain or maintain required medical licenses and certifications
- Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements when applicable
