Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist North Chesapeake, VA

Required Skills:

Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)

Valid medical license for the state of Virginia

Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care

Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Strong focus on patient safety and quality care

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience in high-volume obstetric units

Ultrasound proficiency

Prior locum or temporary staffing experience

Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills

Preferred

Education and Experience:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Minimum of three years of clinical experience in obstetrics

Prior experience as an OB Hospitalist is advantageous, but not mandatory

Other Requirements:

Must hold current medical licenses and certifications relevant to OB-GYN practice

Willingness to travel and adapt to different hospital policies and protocols

Compliance with all hospital and regulatory requirements, including trauma and obstetric certifications
