School Psychologist - Chesapeake, VA

Bring your expertise in school psychology to a dynamic contract role serving K-12 students in the vibrant Virginia Beach area. This on‑site opportunity provides a full‑time schedule (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday) for the  academic year, starting August 31, 2026, and ending June 15, 2027. As a critical member of the student support team, youll work with a diverse caseload;

school assignments and specific age groups will be determined prior to your start. No virtual or hybrid options are available for this assignment.

• Active Virginia Department of Education Licensure required
• Current Psychologist License in Virginia
• Proven experience in school settings as a School Psychologist
• Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to students in K-12
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and caseloads

• Conduct psycho educational evaluations and interpret assessment results
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies based on individual student needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students academic and emotional success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
