Bring your expertise in school psychology to a dynamic contract role serving K-12 students in the vibrant Virginia Beach area. This on‑site opportunity provides a full‑time schedule (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday) for the academic year, starting August 31, 2026, and ending June 15, 2027. As a critical member of the student support team, youll work with a diverse caseload;
school assignments and specific age groups will be determined prior to your start. No virtual or hybrid options are available for this assignment.
Experience:
- Active Virginia Department of Education Licensure required
- Current Psychologist License in Virginia
- Proven experience in school settings as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to students in K-12
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and caseloads
- Conduct psycho educational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies based on individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students academic and emotional success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
