Job Description

This is a full‑time position. The role is virtual and open to residents of the 50 states and Washington, D.C. The position begins in the school year 2026/2027.

• Florida Department of Education High School (9‑12) ELA Teacher Certificate – 5‑Year Professional Educator’s Certificate

• Virtual position open to residents of the 50 states and Washington, D.C.

School Year 2026/2027

Base salary of $47,500, with eligibility for a performance bonus. Typical salary range is $43,877.00 – $47,500.00.

• Provide direct, engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
• Give targeted, personalized feedback using a variety of techniques.
• Differentiated instruction based on student mastery.
• Allocate daily time to student‑management systems to review progress and grade assignments.
• Create a welcoming class environment adhering to course guidelines.
• Teach curriculum and continuously learn new content.
• Analyze student data to identify actions that improve achievement.
• Meet state and client‑specific policy deadlines.
• Support in‑class facilitators with classroom management, curricular issues, and troubleshooting.
• Commit to personalizing learning for all students.
• Participate in monthly data‑analysis meetings and collaborate on instructional decisions.
• Complete induction and annual trainings as required.
• Create and augment course content per policies, using asynchronous/synchronous tools.
• Maintain positive rapport with families and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
• Maintain and obtain additional state certifications as requested.
• Engage in additional projects as needed.
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active state teaching license.
• Clear required background check.

• Complete training within two weeks.
• Receptive to coaching from administrators and trainers.
• Embrace change and adapt for student outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
• Rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.

• Experience with the proposed age group.
• Experience supporting adults and children with technology.
• Experience teaching in synchronous environments such as Zoom or Newrow.
• Experience with online learning platforms.

• Salary range $43,877.00 – $47,500.00.
• Potential earnings include a bonus.
