The Industrial Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on improving processes, reducing defects, driving root-cause analysis, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.

A Day in the Life:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for manufacturing processes
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product quality
  • Support new product introductions and process changes with quality planning and validation
  • Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, regulatory, and customer quality requirements
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation (control plans, inspection plans, SOPs)
You should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial quality role
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA)
  • Experience with root cause analysis methods
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency interfacing with technology, including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel for cost estimating and engineering functions
