SkillBridge: Production Test Engineer

Position Overview

Raytheon Production Test Engineer – Skill Bridge Program, on‑site position in Chesapeake, VA.

• Perform a wide variety of technical tasks, including process, test, troubleshoot, and repair of Digital, Analog, and RF equipment.
• Observe, analyze, and report test data; perform tests; utilize engineering drawings, manuals, and other documentation.
• Assist in planning complex tests to evaluate equipment performance.
• Use analytical tools to analyze and simulate hardware testing designs prior to program execution.
• Potentially work on Analog, Digital, and High‑Voltage circuits.
• Engage in training and mentorship opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience troubleshooting and testing RF, Digital, and Analog circuitry.
• Experience with technical drawings.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Zoom).
• Experience with general‑purpose and program‑specific test equipment.
• Ability to develop test software and procedures for analog/digital assemblies to fault‑isolate components.
