The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests on electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, document test procedures, and maintain test equipment.
- Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.
- Document test procedures and results accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
- Generate reports on test status, issues, and actions.
- This is a 2nd shift, onsite position.
- Training will take place on 1st shift for 6-8 weeks.
- H.S. Diploma or A.A./A.S. degree (or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a testing environment.
- Experience with testing equipment and software.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience producing presentations of status, issues and actions.
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment at a component level using schematics, test equipment and technical procedures.
