The City of Chesapeake's Public Works division seeks an Engineering Technician I to support the Traffic Management Center, performing para-professional traffic engineering tasks in both office and field settings.
The ideal candidate has an associate’s in engineering, drafting, or related field, at least six months of related experience, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with GIS, CCTV systems, or other traffic monitoring tools. The position is 40 hours/week in Chesapeake, VA.
