MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Field Engineering Sr Manager, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring MK 41 VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain US National Security. Manage over 20 direct reports in the day to day operations of the VLS shipbard and VLS production.

Collaborate with multiple GDIT departments such as Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop and outside vendors/subcontractors. Drive schedules and manage the work force to successfully meet multiple contract milestones. Utilize experience as VLS Test Director to ensure current and correct VLS policies and procedures are being followed. Maintain a fluid relationship with the VLS PEO and VLS ISEA.

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
