Job Description

First Team Toyota is seeking a Service Cashier for the afternoon shift. The role requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for supporting the dealership's growth.

Essential Duties
  • Meet and greet customers on the service lane.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Use the latest technology to efficiently check customers’ vehicles into the service department.
  • Follow the service road-to-sales process.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and technicians.
  • Work with the Service Manager to secure a reasonable profit from each sale.
  • Coordinate all service work with the Team Leader to achieve completion times.
  • Communicate professionally and ensure all promises and promise times are met.
  • Offer solutions for repair options and alternative transportation.
  • Advise customers on the specific needs of their vehicles.
  • Monitor the system to ensure technicians meet all promise times.
  • Offer a multi‑point inspection and recommend additional repairs or services.
  • Conduct business ethically and professionally.
Experience and Skills
  • Ability to hold oneself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and team‑mindset.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers; CDK is a plus.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's values in all interactions.
Additional Requirements
  • Pass a motor vehicle report and maintain an acceptable safe driving record.
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
