We are seeking to hire an experienced Client Service professional for our Chesapeake, VA office. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment and grow their skills and experience by learning from an accomplished, entrepreneurial executive and leader. This person will be work with the Financial Advisors on a daily basis and is expected to handle a variety of tasks at any given time with discretion and a high level of professionalism.

- Account Servicing such as processing withdrawals, beneficiary updates, address changes, etc.
- Prepare required paperwork and facilitate client account opening.
- Administrative Responsibilities including answering client calls, mailings, and system updates.
- Educate clients on account services and capabilities (e.g., how to read statements/confirms, how to use Online Services, paperless options, RMA cards, etc.).
- Leverage various communication channels to keep in touch with clients (e.g., send out birthday and milestone gifts/cards, e‑mail research newsletters).
- Building relationships with our client base by consistently providing the highest level of customer service.
- Proactively develop self to continuously improve knowledge, skills and credentials and communicate development needs to Senior Financial Advisor or Team Administrator as applicable.
- Work to continually refine presentation materials to improve client experience.
- Provide back up to other CSAs with phone, paperwork etc. as needed
- Track anticipated checks and money movement arriving via mail
- Make travel arrangements including booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
- Prepare for & greets clients for meetings in the office.
- Prioritize tasks by importance/level of urgency.
- Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e‑mail, and written.
- Ability to be flexible and respond to changes in direction or focus of tasks at hand.
- Contribute to team results by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dedicated work ethic and strong organizational abilities.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize projects and requests, and sustain a high level of attention to detail.
- Preferred 2+ years of experience supporting a Registered Investment Advisor or financial services firm.
- Working knowledge of money movements, ACH and wire transfers.
- FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 63 registrations preferred or ability to obtain Series SIE, 7 & 63 in the future.
40 hours per week.
