WyHy Federal Credit Union is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to join our team in Cheyenne, WY. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and managing risks to safeguard the credit union’s assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in risk assessment within the financial services sector.

• Risk Identification: Assess and identify potential risks that could impact the credit union’s operations, including financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Risk Analysis: Analyze risk data and trends to evaluate the potential impact on the organization and develop risk profiles.
• Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate identified risks and reduce potential losses.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies, and assist in maintaining compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and present findings to senior management, including recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Incident Investigation: Support investigations into risk-related incidents and develop action plans to address and resolve issues.
• Collaboration: Work with various departments to assess risk exposure and integrate risk management practices into operational processes.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Manager) are advantageous.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in risk management or a related role within the financial services industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Proficiency with risk management software and tools.
• Knowledge: Understanding of risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
