Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
Monitor patients' cardiac activity using telemetry equipment
Assess and document patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms
Respond promptly to abnormal cardiac readings or alarms
Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans
Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and care
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests or procedures
Assist with emergency interventions such as Code Blue situations
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Provide post-procedure and post-operative cardiac monitoring
Support patients recovering from cardiac events, surgeries, or interventions

Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
Valid VA/Compact Registered Nurse (RN) Licence
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Telemetry setting
