Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Travel Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) in Norfolk, VA. This 13-week day shift contract (3x12-hour shifts) offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $3,450. It's an ideal assignment for RNs with strong cardiac surgery experience, including CABG, valve replacement, and other open-heart procedures.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Scrub and circulate during complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
Prepare and maintain a sterile field and ensure proper instrumentation setup.
Monitor patient status intraoperatively and anticipate surgeon needs.
Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to OR protocols and safety standards.
Ensure proper care and handling of surgical instruments and equipment.
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active Virginia RN license (or compact eligible).
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 2 years' recent CVOR experience in high-acuity surgical settings.
Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating for cardiac cases.
Strong knowledge of surgical equipment, sterile technique, and cardiac anatomy.
Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient during complex procedures.
