Medical Biller – Payor Account Representative

Bayview Physicians Group is a growing outpatient multi‑specialty medical group serving the Hampton Roads area. We are seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Biller – Payor Account Representative, who thrives in a team‑focused environment and is committed to providing excellent service to patients and staff.

• Competitive pay: $15‑$27/hour. Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, schedule and job duties

• Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
• Resolve unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
• File appeals and process refunds when appropriate
• Assist patients with billing and insurance questions
• Maintain knowledge of insurance policies and billing procedures
• Work claim edits, validations, and clearinghouse issues
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance standards
• Support team workflow and complete additional duties as assigned

• Medical billing certification or minimum 1 year healthcare experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment
• Knowledge of eCW EMR a plus, but willing to train
