Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 7:45 AM–4:45 PM with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. Openings:
9. Salary: $52,000 per year ($25.00/hour). Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent certification/license are eligible for $58,000 per year ($27.88/hour).

Employer operates at Indian Creek Correctional Center and houses 1,060 male inmates with a therapeutic community treatment program.

• Serve as a role model and engineer of a social learning treatment milieu.
• Provide counseling services including group programming, individual counseling, case management, and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with Virginia Department of Corrections personnel to ensure quality services and promote a healing environment for individuals with substance use disorders.

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required.
• State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in Virginia or similar certification/license recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors is required within two years of signing the job description.
