Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst I to carry out a broad array of data management and help desk activities for DHQP (Dialysis) Surveillance Branch.

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst I to carry out a broad array of data management and help desk activities for DHQP (Dialysis) Surveillance Branch.

Responsibilities
  • Mid- to senior-level Data Management Support to provide Level 1 (Facilities Enrollment) help desk support for an average of 200 email help desk tickets per workday; provide technical support.
  • Assist users in acquiring digital credentials via SAMS.
  • Enroll facilities in NHSN.
  • Triage Level 2 support to appropriate SMEs.
  • Migrate the current email system of managing tickets.

    Create and manage up-to-date user support documentation for internal (team) and external (NHSN users and partners) audiences.
  • Maintain electronic files, e.g., for NHSN Agreement to Participate and Consent documents.
  • Provide SharePoint support, including site management and configuration, and minimal SharePoint scripting.
  • Provide Level 2 (Triaging) help desk support (Infection Preventionists / Epidemiologists) to address NHSN protocol issues.
  • Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and work professionally and collegially with a highly educated, scientific customer base that is under pressure and in the public eye every day.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently, be solution-oriented, motivated, and committed to customer and company success.
  • Ability to handle a variety of constituencies, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment while balancing multiple competing priorities.
  • Expertise in project management tools and software, including but not limited to:
    Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and One Note.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with the government procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.
Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $108,000 annually.
