We are looking for Certified Fiber Optic Technicians who will:

Install, remove, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunication equipment. This includes running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables; installing routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays.

Provide reports, complete requests for new service, and determine methodology for installing telephone service or other telecommunication technology. Under direct supervision, determine appropriateness of moderate equipment changes or modifications including call switches, test trunks and test links, and installs communication circuits. Respond to emergency calls in the event of a system failure. Make precision adjustments on switches, relays, and other electrical control devices for maximum operating efficiency.

Verify services by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; and identifying, correcting, or escalating problems. Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
