US Navy IT Technician

Our Chesapeake, VA team has an immediate need for a US Navy IT Technician 3 with demonstrated experience providing tier 2/3 infrastructure support for enterprise-level networks comprised of US Navy Program of Record (POR) systems, including COMPOSE, CANEs, ADNS, GCCS, CENTRIXS, and CND.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and analyze issues to help determine and execute repair activities that will return equipment, system, or network to operational status
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the POR systems (COMPOSE, CANEs, ADNS, GCCS, CENTRIXS, and/or CND)
• Respond to and update trouble calls using the Remedy ticketing system
• Serve as team leader for installation of new systems or upgrades to existing systems, supervising teams of 2-7 technicians per installation
• Work with shipboard personnel and/or other network support vendors to resolve shipboard ADP/IT network issues
• Generate and submit daily work reports

• Secret Clearance required.
• Security+ or equivalent required.
• IAT Level II certification required.
• Ability to travel required.
• High School diploma required.
