Ignite Digital is seeking a Mid Level Data Analyst to support a US Navy data analytics, cloud management, and IT modernization program in Norfolk, VA. This role advances Navy digital transformation by enabling high quality data insights, modern architectures, and enhanced decision making across mission operations.

The Mid Level Data Analyst is responsible for performing sophisticated data analysis, developing reports, and creating intuitive visualizations that drive data informed decisions. The ideal candidate can work independently or collaboratively, spot opportunities for improvement, and translate analytical findings into operational value. This role also includes mentoring junior analysts and supporting the development of data analysis standards and best practices.

• Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, risks, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain data models, databases, and analytical workflows.
• Build and publish dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Conduct statistical analysis and develop predictive models using R or Python.
• Communicate insights, findings, and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and system engineers to design and implement datacentric solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on tools, techniques, and analytic methodologies.
• Document workflows, processes, models, and analysis techniques for repeatability and program compliance.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of analytics best practices and standardized methods.

• 4+ years of professional experience in data analytics.
• Strong proficiency in R or Python, SQL, Excel, and modern data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling methodologies.
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or another related field.

• Active DoW SECRET security clearance required.

Salary: $90k+ to align with education and experience.
