ERP Applications System Analyst
Location:
Chesapeake, Virginia (Partial Remote)
Candidates must work on Apex's W2 without sponsorship for the duration of the project. This role is W2 only. There are no C2C or 1099 options.
Role Overview
We are seeking Applications Systems Analysts to support a portfolio of enterprise business applications. This role focuses on system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, security management, workflow support, and end-user support. The ideal candidate is a strong systems thinker who can troubleshoot issues and is comfortable supporting both technical and business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, helpdesk assistance, and troubleshooting for all systems.
- Gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements.
- Coordinate across multiple entities to investigate problems and determine root causes.
- Configure and maintain application settings, workflows, and user access.
- Maintain security roles, permissions, and profiles.
- Ensure proper system configurations and application functionality.
- Support data management, business processes, workflows, and system integrations.
- Participate in daily morning stand-ups and periodic check-ins.
- Document system changes and support activities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a functional, technical, or systems administration capacity.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in form-building and workflow-building.
- Experience with basic configuration in at least one of the following platforms: UKG HCM (Ready preferred), People Soft Financials (GL experience), or Hexagon/Octave EAM.
- Understanding of data flows and system integrations.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Public sector or K-12 education experience.
- Jot Form experience.
- Experience supporting payroll, timekeeping, HCM, ERP, financial, or asset management systems.
- Experience working in highly integrated enterprise application environments.
Work Environment
Participation in daily morning stand-up meetings is required. Regular communication and collaboration throughout the workday are expected. The role is in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on communication and responsiveness. This position supports multiple mission-critical enterprise systems in a fast-paced setting.
