Position
Description:
MI Technical Solutions, Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Developer to join its team. In this role, the UI/UX Developer is responsible for the design and creation of user-facing interfaces and experiences. Responsibilities:
* Analyze user requirements and behavior to design user-friendly interfaces.
* Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process.
* Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
* Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites or applications function and look.
* Work closely with software engineers and product managers to implement designs.
* Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve design.
* Stay up to date with design application changes and industry developments.
* Ensure all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings.
* Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design.
Requirements:
* Must have and be able to maintain DoW Security Clearance
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or related field
* 3+years' experience in user-facing design and development
* Experience working with React.js, CSS, and Power Platform interfaces
* Ability to work independently and autonomously
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Experience using UI wireframe/mockup tools such as Figma and Balsamiq
* Knowledge of design standards such as Google Material Design and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
