We are seeking a motivated and strategic insurance professional to run a Farmers insurance agency by leading the growth, operations, and client service functions of a dynamic insurance agency. At The Atlantic District, we believe that insurance is more than just a contract; it is a promise of protection for our neighbors here in Chesapeake. We are currently looking for a motivated and personable Principal Agent to anchor our local sales team.

• Lead our local sales efforts by identifying and connecting with potential clients in the community.
• Assess the individual needs of families and business owners to provide comprehensive coverage solutions.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and follow up on inquiries with warmth and professionalism.
• Review existing client policies regularly to ensure their protection evolves with their changing life circumstances.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a supportive and productive office atmosphere.
• Represent The Atlantic District at local events and participate in regional networking opportunities to grow our brand presence.

• Virginia Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Virginia Life and Health Insurance License.
• Three or more years of successful insurance sales experience.
• Strong track record of relationship building and local networking.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in standard office software and agency management systems.
• Ability to commute daily to our Chesapeake office.
