Position Summary

We have an immediate opening for a full‑time Systems Analyst, Indirect Sourcing & Procurement Systems for our Client, a major retailer located in Chesapeake, VA. This position will play a critical role for Logic Source providing an analytical & reporting function to support sourcing operations and the onsite team. The scope for this role will be focused on several major indirect categories including Professional Services, Marketing, Distribution & Logistics, Information Technology, and Facilities.

The role will report to the Managing Director, Sourcing, and Procurement.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and produce meaningful interpretations and actionable results from spend tools (One Market Insights) and other client data.
  • Provide procurement and analytical support to the Indirect Procurement team.
  • Collaborate with the Client’s internal stakeholders to identify and secure relevant data for analysis.
  • Track, monitor, and report on delivery of savings targets.
  • Support development of Quarterly Business Reviews including developing analytics to report on sourcing progress and savings results.
  • Deliver on‑going analytical support to Category Directors including analyzing root cause analysis, cost pattern analysis, SRM development, supplier score carding, and total cost reviews.
  • Deliver on‑going analytical support to Sourcing Managers and the Center of Excellence (COE) including analyzing RFP results, comparing pricing and calculating savings.
  • Lead activities throughout procurement and sourcing team to monitor spend under management and
  • Read and extract inconsistencies within contracts and add value by outlining required SLAs.
  • Engage analytical resources at Logic Source’s COE to ensure timely delivery of pertinent financial.
  • Deliver accurate and timely information to finance for the issuance of invoices to the client.
  • Monitor and report on key performance initiatives (KPIs) such as savings vs. baseline, purchase compliance to contract rates, and usage versus demand management forecasts.
  • Leverage operational data to drive continual process improvement, including value engineering of specifications, supplier consolidation and geographic/freight‑based opportunities.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with all client policies and procedures including legal and regulatory.
  • Maintain efficient and courteous relationships with clients, vendors, and internal client contractors.
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, economics or accounting.
  • 3+ years of experience in analysis, financial and/or operational reporting roles.
  • Fluent with reporting systems, internet research, and general forms of technical infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Excel/financial analysis and planning.
  • Ability to turn complex data into meaningful reports.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Exposure to strategic sourcing, procurement, contract administration, and/or project management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to multi‑task, make sound business decisions, and find hidden opportunities.
