Role Description

This is a full-time, on‑site Property Manager role located in Chesapeake, VA. The Property Manager will oversee and maintain council properties, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well‑maintained to support Girl Scout activities and events. Responsibilities include property inspections, managing repairs and maintenance, coordinating with vendors and contractors, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting property‑related activities and events. The Property Manager will work closely with staff and volunteers to ensure that all facilities effectively serve the mission and programming of Girl Scouts.

Qualifications
  • Skills in Facilities Management, Maintenance Coordination, and Property Oversight
  • Experience in Vendor Relations
  • Knowledge of Compliance Requirements, Building Regulations, and Safety Standards
  • Strong Organizational, Communication, and Problem‑Solving Skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with staff and volunteers
  • Proficiency in using tools, software, or technology for property management
  • Flexibility to manage various tasks and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties
  • Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
