Perdue Agri Business is in search for a Union Grain Laborer in Chesapeake, VA
. The Grain Laborer is responsible to provide housekeeping and general labor duties throughout the grain elevator.

• Perform routine housekeeping requirements as directed.
• Perform other routine labor tasks as directed.
• Perform all work within the safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.
• Maintain hygienic/sanitary workspace to ensure product safety and quality.

• High School or Diploma/GED; further education is preferred.

• TWIC application is required.
• General industry safety knowledge.
• Must possess basic computer skills and be familiar with operating process from a computer-based system.
• Must be able to multitask.

Able to move freely throughout the agribusiness facilities including climbing vertical heights (0-150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 lbs.), working within exposure temperatures (0-100°F), humidity (0-100%) and noise (50-100 dB) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment including a self‑contained breathing apparatus.
