Inventory Control Specialist

You’ll play a key role in keeping production and customer orders running smoothly by maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating material flow, and supporting warehouse and purchasing operations. • Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer and production demand
• Identify shortages and communicate them to the Warehouse Manager and Production teams
• Set up and manage Material Resources Planning (MRP)
• Support order fulfillment: pulling parts, stocking, storing, and staging materials
• Perform regular inventory audits and investigate discrepancies
• Load and unload containers; review and verify freight documentation
• Serve as backup for shipping and receiving
• Assist the purchasing department with material needs and updates
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet operational goals
• Take on additional duties as assigned by leadership

• Experience using inventory software or inventory management systems
• Strong analytical, math, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to operate a standard forklift and pallet jack
• Excellent attention to detail and record accuracy
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with multiple departments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs as needed
• Ability to walk, bend, climb stairs, push/pull, and perform hands‑on material handling

You’ll work in a clean, climate‑controlled warehouse environment. The role involves handling resin and epoxy, so casual or durable clothing is recommended.

This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
