Chesapeake, VA. Travel not typical.

• Perform logistical functions assisting in development of technical data packages (TDPs). These packages contain electronic parts lists and engineering drawings used for completion of final tasking product.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills. Written and verbal interactions with DoD entities required to obtain data and technical information needed for project objectives.
• Ensure adherence to customer processes; contact various naval supply (NAVSUP) and electronic equipment systems engineering agents (ISEAs) to acquire technical data in support of project objectives.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical data that coincides with target assembly, including revision levels, alternative or equivalent parts or materials.
• Review and verify electronic materials parts data for national stock number (NSN) support. Research and locate alternative parts for current obsolete parts to support assembly repair efforts. Familiarity with DLA FEDMALL, Haystack, Database 360.Accuris formerly IHS.
• Be part of project team, exploring in-house and third-party tools to facilitate and automate data accuracy.

• Previous Naval supply background or experience working within the military environment/industry a plus. Naval Logistics Experience highly desired.
• MS Office application knowledge, including proficiency in MS Access for compiling parts data into a usable form in support of TDP package development.
• Conduct logistical research and life cycle analysis using industry standards such as Open Architectural Retrieval System (OARS), Configuration Data Managers Database Open Architecture (CDMDOA), NAVSUP Inform 21 (Birdtrack), DLA E Mall.
• Demand History, One Touch, Logiquest, FEDLOG, SNAPSHOT PMS viewer, and Haystack.

• Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
